Notice
1. The person who is moving must apply in person.
2. When online application is not possible
– In case of forming a household separately from the previous head of household in the place of moving
– In case a household member applies and moves including the head of the household or a minor
– If the applicant is a minor (under 17 years of age)
– If minors are included, online transfer registration is not allowed unless the head of the household can verify the head of the household online through an official certificate.
3. When confirmation of the head of household is required 인터넷 전입신고
When there is a change in the head of the household (confirmed by the new head of household)
→ The head of the household must confirm by the 7th day from the date of application.

Reporting of moving in through the Internet
1. Open the Government 24 website. (Non-members can apply)

2. If you type ‘report of moving in’ in the search box, a shortcut to ‘report of moving in’ appears below. Click.
Click here to go directly to the application page.
3. Click [Apply].
4. Select Member/Non-Member. I will click [Non-Member Application].
5. Enter the ‘non-member application’ information and click [OK].
6. Read the notes below carefully, check [Yes] and click [OK].
– Requires accreditation certificate
– When confirmation of the head of household is required
– When online transfer registration is not possible
7. Enter the applicant’s information and click [Next].
– Contact information, reason for moving in, etc.
8. Select a city/province, select a county/gu, and click [Address Lookup].
9. Select the certificate, enter the certificate password, and click [OK].
10.Check the person you are moving to and click [Next Step].
11. Enter the address where you moved, information about the head of the household (if necessary), and the relationship with the head of the household, and then click [Apply for civil complaint].
* When confirmation of the head of household is required
– When there is a change of head of household (new head of household confirms)
– If there is an existing head of household in the place where you moved
12. Enter the certificate information, and click [OK].
13. Your application is complete. The processing time is indicated to be 3 hours based on working hours.
However, if confirmation of the head of the household is required, upon completion of the application, the application will be on standby until the confirmation of the head of the household.
→ A text message is sent to the head of the household to notify them, and if the head of the household confirms it within 7 days, [Reception completed] and civil complaint processing begins.

Open ‘Government 24’ site → Services → My Gov → My application history
How to check the head of the household
* Applicable only when confirmation of the head of household is required!!
① The head of the household directly opens the ‘Government 24’ site → Services → Check facts/authenticity → Check the head of the household
② When the confirmation of the head of the household is completed, a receipt completion message is sent to the transferee (applicant).
③ You will be notified by text message when the moving-in notification complaint processing is complete. You can check it by printing out an online certified copy (free) from Government24.
