KT mobile phone micropayment blocking & how to cancel blocking (mobile phone limit setting)

Today, we will look at how to block microtransactions at telecommunications company KT, and how to cancel blocking and set limits.
■ How to block KT mobile phone micropayments
1. First, access KT Olleh Mobile and enter the menu at the top left.
2. Among the categories on the left, go to My Page > Rate Inquiry/Payment.
3. Go to Billing > Micropayment Details.

4. Select the micropayment menu from the top micropayment and content usage fee,
Select usage details and limit change.
5. Out of the basic small payment limit of 40,000 won, I have 38,000 won left after excluding the 2,000 won I used at the convenience store today.
Micropayments are basically added to the phone bill, and if necessary, micropayments can be made in advance on the page shown in the picture.
Go to Change Limit > Select.
6. There are various amounts from 40,000 won to 1 million won.
You can set the microtransaction limit yourself, and if you don’t want microtransactions, you can select block.
7. Select Block in Limit Change and make the change.
8. Blocking of micropayments can be blocked only by consenting to the required use without separate authentication.
9. It was easy to block micropayments just by logging in without authentication.
In the future, the use limit for micropayments is 0 won!
■ How to cancel KT mobile phone micropayment blocking
If you need to pay and don’t have a credit card right away, there’s nothing more helpful than micropayments on your phone.
In that case, if it is blocked, you will not be able to use offline (Samsung Pay Danal service) even online.
In this case, you can increase the micropayment limit that was blocked to 0 won.
The procedure is the same as above.
1. Go to KT Olleh Mobile Access > Top Menu > My Page > Fare Inquiry/Payment > Fare Inquiry > Micro Payment Details, and increase the micropayment amount by checking the usage limit and changing the limit.
I tried going from a small payment amount with a usage limit of 0 to 40,000 won.
When blocking was set, identity verification was not required, but when increasing the limit, mobile phone identity verification was required.
2. The usage limit for micropayment service has been changed from 0 won to 40,000 won.
I remember having to contact the customer center directly to block micropayments in the past, but these days, you can easily block and unblock micropayments with just one mobile phone.
I kept it to a minimum limit just in case, and blocked micropayments for my parents’ cell phones who don’t know how to use micropayments themselves.
